I'm starting to think about x-mas gifts I might want to get this year, and I am very highly considering getting a Nitendo Wii. Is it any good? Does it suck? Is it better than a ps2?

Take it from me.(a guy who stood in line for an hour even though he didn't have a ticket, hoping someones check would bounce and ended up not getting one, then going 22 miles back home, and my moms friend calls her at 1:00 A.M., and taking a trip to a town 40 miles from my house.) It is way better than PS2. The Wii has very good graphics. If that doesn't please you it has a Internet connection to download any game like Mario brothers and stuff like that.

Not good. You can only have backwards compatability to Game cube games. You can't even have a seperate HDD and download the N64 games. I am gettin a PS3

It's definitely better than the ps2, it has better graphics and the remote controller is awesome.

It's a very good console, I have heard no negative reviews from people who actually own one. Of course you have the Sony/Microsoft fanboys who'll tell you it sucks regardless, but I have seen NOTHING negative about it...
