How do you activate all three of the special dresspheres? The special dresspheres are in the middle of the dressphere gird. I try to add it on my garment grid, but I don't see any of it? It the special dresspheres not used for activating?

When the opponent plays a DRAW 2 card or a DRAW 4 card: if I were to have a DRAW 2 or a DRAW 4 in my possesion, could I play that card and force my opponent to draw, either 4 (in the DRAW 2 scenario) or DRAW 8 (in the DRAW 4 scenario?) Subsequently, could my opponent place a DRAW 4 on top of the 2nd DRAW 4 that I placed down and force me to draw 12?

My boyfriend seems to not understand these rules but this is the way we have always played. He has gone over the rule book and feels that I am totally wrong about this.

Are these made-up rules or is this the way UNO is played? Any help would be appreciated.
