Beer, Wine & Spirits - December 2007

Looking to attract a variety of age groups, particulary that middle generation of guys that come in for a coldie after work. Wanting to increase our weekday patronage. They just want cheap beer, but unfortunately that just ain't gonna happen, thanks to the brewery's. Any ideas would be a great help.

After a couple months of answering questions in our beloved Y!A network.. I finally get a Top Contributor in the Singles & Dating section [I might lose it later, but let's just get into the moment right now yeah?], I played online poker with my bf and won over 800 chips [yes I'm new my bf is teaching me], I finished my research paper this morning, I went to a festival and had a great time, and ended the night with a great convo with my bf on the phone. Tonight has been proving to be such a wonderful night.

Would everybody raise their glasses and yell out "CHEERS!" with me?


But first, kindly tell me what kind of drink you'd like? =)

I'm turning 21 this week. I've never had alcohol up to now. My friends want me to have one shot of tequila straight-up for my birthday.

Can I get drunk from that, considering I've never had a drink? (I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs.) Will I be sick to my stomach afterwards? Thanks!

Ok sure it is a bit over priced and I could do with out the whole purple bag gimmick.........but is this not the best god dammned liqour on the planet (and when I say planet, I mean from what you can find at your local liqour store, yes I realize there are 500,000 other whiskey's yada yada) Yummy stuff though!

I haven't drunk for a while and will be in few days. How can I avoid to be very drunk? I will be drinking beers. Please don't advise not to drink because it will not happen.

I don't know if I have a problem. I drink about 6 out of 7 nights a week. I mostly only drink beer. I have about 6-9 beers a night. So does my husband. Even with the amount (averaging $100 a week) we spend, we are not bad off financially. We have a great relationship with each other, our friends and family. We work at the same place and HATE it. I think that's what started our drinking binges (sp?). But sometimes I get concerned with the amount we drink, and so does he. Do we have a problem? My brother thinks we do, but at the same time he's a pothead so I don't listen to half of what he says. I was just curious about others opinions before I went somewhere else with this question. If we do have a problem, who do I talk to? Doctor? Shrink? Family member? Thanks.

Hi folks. I'm 22 years old and I can't stand the taste of alcohol. I meet a lot of people at the college I go to, and they want to go out for drinks. However, like I said, I cannot stand the stuff. Do you think its possible to have fun while sober and the people you are hanging out with are drunk? Do you think it would lead to me being uncomfortable?


Also, I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for alcoholic drinks for someone who isn't used to it. Thanks ahead of time.

I found the perfect gift for my dad, it was like a plastic barrel that you add water to and leave for 30 days and it made lager, Ive found bitter ones but cannot find lager ones anymore, any ideas where i would get one?
