What will I get if I boil 1/2 oz of Crystal malt, 1/2 oz of Black Patent malt, 1/2 oz of Chocolate malt, 7lb of Amber malt extract, for 1 hour, 2 cups of brown sugar, with 1 oz of Willamette hops for 45 minutes, 1 oz of Centennial hops for 15 minutes, and finish with 1/4 oz Centennial for 2 minutes? I have English Ale White Labs yeast. I'm looking for a creamy, malty, yet hoppy beer. I'm thinking this might be the way to go. I really like New Belgium 2 Below, but I doubt if I can reciprocate that toasted bread taste in their beers. Maybe something that is a fuller bodied ale, I don't know. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.
