They do keep it cold but also you now know which is your drink if you put it down for any reason.~~

Don't leave home without one!
Not only will it keep your beer cool, but your hands dry If your beer is coming out of an ice chest.
Or if it is winter and you are outside keeps your hands from getting colder.
Bottom line:
Koozie = good (mans 2nd best friend)

They work well for a couple of reasons. The heat from your hands don't make the beer warm and visa versa your hands don't get cold from the beer.

Pretty good R factor, meaning that they keep the beer cold. That means that your hands don't get cold holding it either. Their use means you are a very civilized person.

I really just use them to cover up most of my beer when I'm in public.
