Jug, I think. Although they are usually pottery or china. Can be glass though.

I think it's funny that you people drink wine out of a jug and milk out of a flask. I also think you have to keep looking if it's three syllables, because carafe has only two.

If it is open it is a Carafe if it is resealable it is a growler.
