I had a few Budweiser beers at a friends house last night and about 3:00 am ran to the toilet just in the nick of time to cut loose a jet powered blast of diarrhea.

No other beer does that. why does Budweiser always do that to me?

I'm going to the bar tonight, and my girlfriends and I usually order a dirty girlscout, a superman or a caramel apple... are their any other shots out there (or drinks) that are yummy? Thanks!

A domestic tap beer costs between .25 and $5.00 for a 12oz glass for 95% of bars in Wisconsin, average being about $2.50 - $3.00. The higher end probabily being a microbrew and the lower end being something like a Blatz A mixed drink with rail booze runs $2.00 and up, with an average cost being something around $3.50 - $4.00 adding about a dollar for a middle range booze like Jack.

What's it like where you live?

I'm not the only beer snob around here, am I? I really prefer imported draught over anything from the U.S. My personal favorite is Hoegaarden from Belgium.

What permits/licenses are required, from whom, and how long does it typically take to acquire them (and for how much)? How much does will it cost to acquire inventory? Any other key hurdles/requirements to get up and running?

I don't get it. Wine has been a staple of humanity since jabba the cave man discovered fermented fruits yeild an intoxicating beverage. Jesus drank wine. Still, I am the only one in my circle of friends that seeks out, and drinks good red wines. They consider wine to be "Abor Mist" or "Boone Farms". That is GARBAGE!!! I give them a taste of the real stuff, and they waste my fine elixir and utter blasphemies about it!! They say it's nasty, or sour. What the hell? When did these little feloious wine substitutes get so much credit as "wine"? Women for the most part these days, seem unable to drink anything unless it's doused in a sickening fruit flavor and splashed with neon colored fake fruit juice. What ever happened to the wine lovers? Am I alone?

I'm not a wine drinker and don't cook with it either but I like many recipes in restaurants cooked with white wine. My problem is I need to know what kind to purchase to cook with...a specific brand name that isn't going to be too strong and overpowering. I live in NC if that makes any difference. Thanks!

I work at 12 am to 8:30 am, and my neighbors give me bad looks when I sit on the back patio and have a beer after work. Yet I see them do it all the time when I get off of work in the evening. Is their really that big of a difference?
