I have had a friend ask him out for me, and I think that he likes me, even though he said no. I really dont get it. I mean I think I see him staring at me and all, but how can I really tell? theres this kid at school that likes me an i doesnt leave me alone. everywhere i turn hes there staring at me and hes already told me he likes me...he also has all of my guy friends asking me if ill go out with him but i dont like him. if i try to get near him to tell him i dont like him that way he goes running so theres not much i can do. I had my guy friend tell him that hes my "boyfriend" and to leave me alone but it didnt work!! how do i get rid of him he has his cousin asking me to go out with him too

people i used to go to school with especially women have always acted like they r better than me. i was a nice person and i treated them with alot respect maybe to much and now only stay in contact with about six or seven people from school and i dont care about the rest of them. I tried malls,going to the bar, and hangin out any place i could think of but when i try to talk to a women they dont give me a chance and if looks could kill i'd be six feet under over and over again. i've had very few girlfriends but more one nighters than i can shake my stick at. i was a nice guy and i'm still finishing last but now i dont even try anymore cuz my self esteem is gone. i now i'm not great looking so i tried to work of personality alone and its just not workin out

I am on a Jewish website geared for couples that want to get married (as opposed to date forever). One gentleman wrote me last year, and I replied to him. Due to years of internet experience, I determined he was not serious and did not write back.

A year later (January 2008) he wrote me again, and said he liked my profile. I am giving him a chance. I was a bit concerned how he gravitated more towards email rather than calling, but he finally confessed that he lost his job. It is hard for him to call me from New York City due to his phone plan, and can only call from the suburbs when he is at his parents. I live in the midwest. Anyways, I understand the stress he is under, and I write to him everyday. He calls about once a week. He says in the 3 years he has been online, I have the best profile. I periodically reactivate my account and notice that he is still logging in regularly.

Is this guy truly interested, or just wasting my time? Why is he still shopping?

Ok so i have been with my boyfriend for 9 months. & he gets so pissed off whenever we are talking on the phone & he hears a voice in the background. It doesn`t matter who it is. I was walking to school a couple days ago & some chick was walking a little bit behind me & she was talking on the phone also & he heard her & asked me who i was with & i told him nobody & he got all pissed because he thought i was walking with some guy. i told him it was some girl that i didnt know & he was like what a girl that sounds like a guy? & i was like uh i guess i don`t know what you want me to tell you i dont know her i can`t change her voice. He gets so jelous even whenever im around guys. Let alone if i talk to other guys. I tell him all the time that I only want to be with him & that i love him. But obviously that isn`t enough. How can I show him I Only want to be with him?

i have this friend and she always says she will call me if she does something and when she doesn't call me and ends up doing somethin i never get invited even though she says we are tight. Then when i am talking to a guy that i like she always has to come up and flirt with him right in front of me. She is so rude. I feel like she just uses me. i have told her this before but she just denies it. it makes me feel really left out and sad. How can i make things better? Please Help!

I am a single mom and like living a peaceful and fun life. I live a fun life, but relaxed and not overly social. I like class and style, but am more of a small town, country girl.

BUT when an guy asks me out that is always out with friends and at bars and hanging out, (dressed all classy and has frosted hair and hangs with 'beautiful people')

... I just feel REALLY uncomfortable and won't go out with them. In my experience the 'party' type people are usually critical and think they are better then others, even as adults... is this a normal reaction of mine?

One thing I have learned here that I never learned in a couple decades of being single. Women think having eye contact with a guy is some kind of giant hint. Wow, you should have let guys in on that secret. Ok, it might work if you want to attract players, anything is a hint to a hustler. But to the rest of us you are just another person making eyecontact, like that granny, or any large number of other people who are obviously not 'interested' and sending a signal.

i separated from my gf to show her that i wanted to be with her. we were intimate while i was still with my gf and we had this incredibly strong connection that was unbelievable. i had no real hold over her so she would sometimes go out w/guys. but she would tell me that i was the one she really wanted to be with. she said she knew she would never find someone that made her feel the way i made her feel. i told her i felt the same but i felt obligated to my gf. two weeks later i left my gf of many yrs. for the past 3 weeks, she had been going out w/ this guy who is completely not good enough for her, her words not mine. but now after i've done all this to show her i want to be with her, she tells me it's too late. i don't get this sh*t. how is love ever too late? it's not like she's been w/him for that long. and she won't admit she still carries these feelings for me, why? knowing women, i believe this statement has many hidden meanings, but i can't figure them out. what do you think?

ok, im telling ya'll now this might be long. OK, well i have this guy friend and we've been friends for 2 years. and word got out that i loved him and wanted to go out with him. and i did. this happened almost everyday. people would say this to him and me in front of each other. when theyed ask us we'd say at the same time why does it matter to you or no were just friends.dispite the constant nagging from other people he continued to sit, talk and mess with me( not sexually, like friends just playin and hittin each other) and the people continued to talk about it. It is STILL going on and he continues to talk, play, and be with me. hes always sticking up for me, and calls me simetimes and say " hey, kayla? im down here having a snowball fight with myself and its turning out to not be much fun. Do you want to come over?" and ill go. does he seriocely like me and dosesnt care what other people say? or is he just nutsby the way, im not three, im a 8th grader and so is he were both 13

've been given a lot of bullcrap from my ex so I am not inclined to believe many people and their stories lately. Today I was supposed to hang out with my guy friend, and we were getting really close last weekend and made plans to hang out this weekend. Today we were supposed to hang out and we talked about it earlier this morning, then he texts me an 1 1/2 hours later after we were supposed to meet. He says that he's in a lot of trouble and that the police are there. I asked him what happened but he said that he couldn't talk. I love this guy and he's told me wild stories before but he's usually right about them so I don't see a reason not to believe him. I am just wondering if I should believe him now; like maybe he made up the story to get out of seeing me, which I don't know because he just could have ignored me or stood me up. Help.
