What should I do?
I went to go and see Phantom of the Opera live in the city and I saw a guy there. He was with his family, so we didn't talk, but we kept looking and smiling at each other. I don't know what his name is, but I want to find him or at least see him again. My friend told me that he was reminded of the song 'You're Beautiful' by James Blunt when I told him my story and said that I probably would never see this guy ever again. After all I don't even live in the city where the show was, but the town right next to it. What should I do? Give up, or wait and see?

ok.... here is my situation............ i have a boyfriend of almost 3 months. everytime i am close to him and he puts his arm around me, i dont feel all fuzzy inside like people say your supposed to. it actually is uncomfortable for me because i consider him as more of a friend than a boyfriend. also, whenever we talk over IM or the phone, i will ask him how his day was, and he will never ask me. one time he actually asked me why i wanted to know how he was doing. we never go out on dates, and hardly kiss. so, should i break up with him and stay friends, or give him a chance? he really likes me, but i dont feel the same way towards him. PLEASE HELP ME!

im a 42 yr old, tried internet dating ok, a woman 24 who lived 100 miles away started contacting me, we swapped tel nos and started talking, she said all the rite things the works ok, anyway we were gona meet but my sis took really ill she was on life support for a month then we lost her, so after funeral we arranged to meet up, but her phone was off when got in touch with her she said she forgot, she does do all hours, anyway arranged 4 me to go meet her 2wks time. all the while we talked constantly, the day was supposed to go down her phone was off again, next day she said her brother been in accident, and she was 400 miles away. we still talked and texted but she went slowed it all down which i understood,, then got seriouse again but only got in touch when she felt like it cos she either replied days later or not at all, i eventually asked her if her feelings had changed or anything else, to which she said, no, she cant seem to arrange a meet ever, whats going on u think

I am extremely hairy all over my body except the back (where the hair is fine). I have BDD with this problem, especially the hairy butt and hairy eyebrows, ears, stomach etc...I have had electrolysis between the eyebrows and ears, which has helped. However, it is too slow. Laser is expensive and usually not permanent, I have given up on removing my body hair.

I hate looking at my body in certain lighting as the body hair looks gross. In certain lighting, it looks okay.

Do women mind having sex (especially oral, which I have never experienced) with a hairy guy? Is it okay if I prefer it in the dark as I don't have to see my body than and can feel more confident? Also, my hairy crotch area often smells a bit if there is sweat there. I have heard that this scent actually attracts females, but I find it smelly. What do the ladies think?

Well, I'm a 23 year old male virgin studying Psychology at Stanford - I remember learning in my Psych Class that people who aren't in (or who never had) any intimate relationships cut short their life span by about 15-20 years. Is their any way around this (besides getting a gf)? I have never been in any kind of relationship throughout my life. I want to live as long as I can while remaining a virgin and it angers me to know that I'll die earlier just because I'll be a single virgin. I know that I'll never get into or want to get into an intimate relationship but I'm sure that I will want to eventually have two children by adoption (or cloning if legalized). Can a single guy adopt children?

Is it actually true that male virgins older than 20 are looked down at? I'm an agnostic.


Anyways, any tips any of you have would be great. I just want to live as long as I can.

At first I thought we'd never end up like this, because the last time I kissed her, we never talked for a long time. But things are different now last time I already had a girlfriend, now I don't. I can't even attempt to ask him out until next week, but sadly it's all I can think about. I'm in that early stage of infatuation which qualifies as insanity. I feel silly and pathetic! Does anyone have any tips on how to get one's mind off of their object of infatuation?

I'm tempted to write a missed connection on CL just to get some relief, but I think I'd fare better trying to charm him in person (plus I have a feeling that it's more classy to do so, with a lot less pressure). It's not like I'm nervous around her, but it's like I feel frantic sometimes trying to keep her attention, keep her interested. And inevitably (at least w/ past relationships) I smother them. Why do I insist on doing this? Anyone else like this or used to be and have tips? alright.. I am 5'3" and 115 pounds average...... and i am constantly complaining to my bf about my appearance (I HATE the way I look) but I rather him to know that I dont like the way I look rather than making him think that I dont care about being a little plump.
Also it is not as if I am not doing anything to loose weight, i watch what I eat all the time .. and work out very hard .. when I have time.
We have had issues because of this .. and I find it very hard to let him touch/see me. I feel so embarrased ... that I even cry sometimes because of it...

On top of that .. I know that he want a fit gf... so that makes me even more terrified about how I look for him.

Do you guys hate girls like me?
