I am 51 years old and have been alone all my life. I have been painfully shy around women all my life which has limited my social life. I feel that at this age my life is basically over and I will probably die alone. I just wish there was still something out there for me. Someone for me. I truly want to hold on to hope but I feel it is slipping away each day.

Hypothetical question: My friend had this thing he was worrying about: He was talking to a close friend of his and she was telling him how she knows this other chick "who is gay but she doesnt know it..." he thinks she was implying that he was gay and he doesnt know it. She knows he loves women and has a gf. Can she still be meaning that or she was just genuinely talking about the other gay chick with no hidden hints that she thinks my friend is gay?

I seem to hav a problem getting "fruity" with girls. Kind of..
With my last girlfriend it was all sort of rushed n everythin, n i find it hard to make a move on girls, and to even think about it makes me scared. do u think thats natural because i hav only ever had 1 gf and im a wuss?

I find kissing is great if they make the first move, but nethin after that, i can see myself just running away from in my brain. and trust me when i say this, im definatley gay, men do not interest me in the slightest, where as women do..

We were together for about 3 years. This girl is beautiful and amazing. The problem is that I took her for granted, and I didn't treat her with the respect and care that I should have. Eventually I actually kicked her out. I am now living in a world of regret. Since the break up, she has slept with atleast one other person. At first I was terribly hurt and angry. After those feelings settled, I just felt sorry that I allowed this to happen. I also felt very sorry that I never treated her right. I am going to see her this weekend, mainly just to appologize about the way that I treated her. Even though she says there is not, I think there might be a chance for us to get back together. If we do, I'm afraid that she may have contracted an STD. When and how should I ask her about this? Should I even ask if she used protection? I don't really want any details about her and the other guy, it would hurt to much. Should I just ask that we both get tested , just to be fair? What should I do?
