Television - 26 November 2007

Why is there nothing on TV but "Reality" shows, Government propaganda, and over-hyped "News"? Why is this medium such a strong form of control/brainwashing? It wasn't always this way. Why is there less and less educational/informative programming? Half the time you spend watching television is spent on commercials anyway. What is the point?

I vaguely remember there was an episode of Sesame street (early 80's) where either Bert (or Ernie) died of cancer. Then after an episode or 2, they decided it was too traumatic for children, so they brought him back like nothing ever happend.

Is this true or did my childhood imagination get out of hand? lol No one else seems to remember it.

i've always wondered...do the movies/tv shows you watch show up on the bill.

i know that all the content is free since we're paying for the hbo demand channel, so theres no reason stuff you watch should come up on the bill.

am i right?
pretty sure i am but thought id actually check.

Isn't Queen of Angels a church? Jason just said that he went there and "the doors were locked, but I got in." That was the most unnecessary line ever. The writers are getting crazy making Jason break into a church.

tonight? Will it be after the football game? Last time there was a Monday night game I thought they postponed the show until Tuesday morning (9:00 a.m.) but then I heard it aired earlier Tuesday morning around 12:00 or 1:00 am. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Victoria had written a letter to Brad when she was pregnant the first time. The letter says that she would choose her baby to live over herself. As the Newmans wait for the judge to make his decision there's a development at the hospital.
Brad wants to be appointed the guardian for the fetus and files a petition to make this happen. The judge hears testimony in the case and then tells Nikki that unless there is some proof in writing that Victoria would want the baby to be saved, even if it means losing her own life, he is leaning towards the argument Victor made. Brad comes to court and he has a letter that Victoria wrote when she was pregnant with their first child. She says she wants the baby to be saved if a decision between her and the baby has to be made. The court takes a recess. JT makes a call to the Newmans - Vikki's condition is worse. The baby is at risk. The Newmans decide to have the baby delivered. Victoria and the baby survive the surgery.
