I know if you're like me when you get drunk or high you'll try making your own version of jackass, so far i've given nipple twisters with live booster cables, pulled people behind a boat, slowed down and whipped the line in waves bigger than the boat, got in a pen with a very angry bull, and teased a guard dog with a pack of raw hot dogs, if you've ever tried this kind of crazy stuff i'd love to hear your ideas

I don't remember who else was in it but I remember Dana Carvey and Dennis Miller for sure. It was an all male cast and they were naked but a wall was covering them so as to not show any "parts".
They were at a beach resort and they said the word "penis" a whole bunch of times. It was, "Hey, so-and-so, how's your p----?"
"Pretty nice p----!" They even sang a "penis" song!
Is it true that that sketch will never be shown again? I saw it when it was on originally and it was down-right hysterical! but I've never seen it on any re-run!

I mean, it's not a bad word and they kept it totally non-sexual, so what would be the problem? On SNL retrospectives they might talk about that sketch but they won't show a clip. What gives?

Do you know who was hosting that night?

I, for the life of me, can't believe great shows like Arrested Development, Dark Angel, and Joan of Arcadia, just to name a few, were canceld so quickly. They were all very well scripted, and boasted talented casts. I was mad as heck when these shows got yanked, especially since they disappeared with unresolved storylines. Did anybody else enjoy any of the shows I mentioned and can you tell me what perhaps their downfalls were? Any other shows that you feel got shafted by greedy, impatient network execs or simply not given a chance by the viewing audience.

...a situation comedy, soap opera, intense family drama, or just bad reality TV?

I feel like maybe....oh, just one of 20 people on the planet who couldn't get into this show and I don't consider myself a humorless prig. I just thought it was inane, whiny, and I never connected with or particularly liked any of the characters. What worked for the show that made it so well-received?

Just an observation that Leno, Letterman, and even Conan is rather boring (for the most part, there are occasional funny things). Kimmel is hilarious.

It would have aired somewhere from 1976 - 1979 or 1980. The clip was a music video showing parrots and cockatoos dressed in costumes and dancing to "Macho Man" by the Village People. I'd love to see it again.
