Our family LOVED the movie "SAVE THE DOG!" with Cindy Williams from Lavern & Shirley. It was a made for TV movie that played on Disney in 1988. We recorded it onto a Beta tape - before everything was on VHS. The tape is long gone and it was never released on tape of DVD...any chance someone has a copy of this fun movie? It would be more nostalgic than anything. We watched it alll the time.

i just saw that there are over 1,000 answers to someone who asked " what do you think about the new survivor? "

why are so many people upset over a GAME ? dont you guys realize that it IS a game and that eventually it will be over? and do you think this guy that decided to do this did it for a reason? maybe he wanted to get this much response - maybe he wanted to start something big even after the game is over..

why? really what is the point? what is this accomplishing?

I saw 1 episode and thought it was stupid so I never watched it again. Then season 2 started and my bf wanted to check it out even though I told him I thought it was stupid. Well, good thing because it was hilarious. I was wondering- was season 1 really bad or was it just me?

Every single tv show or movie that I've ever seen shows people using Apple/Macintosh computers or related products. I remember the movie blank check the kid called himself "Mr. Macintosh" and that in Independence Day people were laughing that he connected his apple laptop to the alien spaceship. I don't think I've ever seen a regular PC on tv or in the movies ever.

Also, why does the media promote certain products like the Tivo DVR and ipod, while completely ignoring other DVRs like replay tv, computer based dvrs, and other music players and protable devices like Archos? I remember when ipod virst made a video player people were going crazy over a tiny video screen, while at the same time players like Archos and Zen Media had much larger screens and more features.

Is there 1 company or something that controls which products get placed on tv and in the movies?
