Yea I knew that a long time ago. I saw him on some morning talk show during the first season and was like "Bloody hell, he's british."

He's absolutely amazing! And what's funny is when he audition the director or producer was like that's what I'm looking for a crass American guy. He didn't know he was british.

I thought everyone knew that by now :) Guess not.

If you want to see Hugh at his *imo* hysterically funniest *and British*, go rent Black Adder the Third *the whole third season of Black Adder*. Hugh played Prince George *this is hard to believe but the Prince Regent was so stupid he makes Pres Bush look like Stephen Hawking in comparison!! >_<* Hugh also was in the final episode of the secong Black Adder season. Hugh w/ Roan Adtkinson is too damn funny!!

It's not much of a secret, since he was a major TV star in Britain for the last 20 years. I recommend "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" and the 3rd and 4th seasons of Blackadder.

Yes, I saw him recently in 101 Dalmatians as one of the puppy thieves for Cruella De Ville.

He has said in interviews, how hard it is to do any American accident.

I did. The first movie I saw him in was Sense and Sensibility in 1995. He played the very dry husband of Mrs. Jenning's daughter.
