Television - 28 August 2006

When I say The Simpsons I mean in it's PRIME, you know, the first ten seasons. Ok, Ok I like SOME parts of Family Guy but overall it's just a cheap knockoff that relies too much on shock (which is getting REALLY REALLY old) and slapstick. Ok I like slapstick sometimes but normally I crave irony, satire, depth and subtlety which is why I like shows like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Daria, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force so much better.

If you like Family Guy that's fine I was just wondering if anyone else agrees with me.

The episode was one that focused on Lisa and her friend the african american jazz sax player. I belive it was the end of the show, after the sax player died Lisa stood on a bridge and played a song on her sax. I've heard it was a song Kenny G also plays, and was wondering if anyone knew the name of it.

I was just wondering if there was a channel dedicated to nothing but music, such as performances, music videos, etc. on dish or directv? Don't tell me MTV, or VH1, because they are mostly dumb shows now. If there isn't one, shouldn't there be? Music just isn't be promoted enough.

the new line ups look bad.
all are bad.
it looks like CBS might be the best.
ABC really stinks.
NBC seems to have - 20 good years, and 30 Rock

what is the worst commercial?
i think its a tie.
the new one from DQ. where the chick eats the sloppy joe and becomes a man is horrable.
also
the nissan commercial. where the guy parachutes off of the mountain. then drives to work.
