Please read this completely before you answer.
How is this fair? They want to increase that Federal Excise tax on cigarettes by $1.00 per pack to pay for healthcare for all children. Why should only smokers pay for this? This implies that children of non-smokers get a freebie. If a smoker and non-smoker each have no kids, why should only the smoker pay for something that applies to everyone? Why not tax something most everyone uses - like milk, or pop, or bread, or shampoo?
