When did being nice become a crime?

It's really sad when they give you best answer and later, down the road, block you just because someone else is paranoid.

Because they think you are a troll so they block you. That is everyones pirvelege here to do that. They are allowed the freedom to block and so what. They can block me all day long and I could care less. Not everyone in the world is going to be nice as they have a lot of issues that keeps them angry. I can understand people from the middle east, their country has been torn apart, bloodshed everywhere, and I would be mad too. Our UK friends have their own problems , thus when people get on here ,their anger comes out because it is a place where you can express yourself. The world is in big time turmoil, and so is Yahoo, so all one can do is go with the flow.

Honey, the 7 sins play a part here. Those blockers are either envious of your answers that they just got jealous easily, or that they are all out to suspend you i the Y!A community, especially the trolls. In the 7 deadly sins, these acts are called envy and wrath.
Envy (Latin, invidia)
Like Greed, Envy is characterized by an insatiable desire; they differ, however, for two main reasons. First, Greed is largely associated with material goods, whereas Envy may apply more generally. Second, those who commit the sin of Envy desire something that someone else has which they perceive themselves as lacking. Wrath (Latin, ira)
Wrath may be described as inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. These feelings can manifest as vehement denial of the truth, both to others and in the form of self-denial, impatience with the procedure of law, and the desire to seek revenge outside of the workings of the justice system (such as engaging in vigilantism) and generally wishing to do evil or harm to others. The transgressions borne of vengeance are among the most serious, including murder, assault, and in extreme cases, genocide. (See Crimes against humanity.) Wrath is the only sin not necessarily associated with selfishness or self interest (although one can of course be wrathful for selfish reasons, such as jealousy). Dante described vengeance as "love of justice perverted to revenge and spite". The wrathful in his Purgatorio were enveloped in blinding smoke.

I dont have you blocked but, I block people even if I see one silly/stupid question they ask,(it also depends on the mood and the kind of day I had), I block trashtalkers and people who curse, dont want to see them

I have never and well never block anyone, I think it is a bad feature,, After all if you don't like them ignore them..

I have no idea...people I have never done anything to, like Food Dude, blocked me to. You'd think they'd at least tell you what you did that was so offensive.

everyone is getting block happy, due to all the violations going around... it's probably not personal.
hint: don't star questions without answering them, it makes people wonder... ( i notice that you star first & sometimes come back later to answer, in the mean time people could think you're a troll)
