Hey guys, what do you think of this song I wrote? Please be honest, and constructive criticism is welcome!

God Please Help Me

I say sorry to you
And I actually am
But only for the things
Nobody could understand
I can’t say I Love You to the people that beat me
I try not to believe those are the same hands that feed me
All I really want is love to keep me
And when you’re downstairs having fun
Bruises turn black and so does my heart
What should I do when everything falls apart?
You have no idea about the fear I feel
When I see you charging towards me with fists of steal
The bruises will fade, but my memory will never heal
They say I have control over my life
But how can I change that man and his wife?
I try to forget the day with the knife

GOD CREATED CHILDREN (AND IN THE PROCESS GRANDCHILDREN)



To those of us who have children in our lives,
whether they are our own,
grandchildren,
nieces,
nephews,
or students...
here is something to make you chuckle.

Whenever your children are out of control,
you can take comfort from the thought that
even God's omnipotence did not extend
to His own children.

After creating heaven and earth,
God created Adam and Eve.

And the first thing he said was
"DON'T ! "



"Don't what ? "
Adam replied.






"Don't eat the forbidden fruit."
God said.


"Forbidden fruit ?
We have forbidden fruit ?
Hey Eve..we have forbidden fruit ! "





" No Way ! "


"Yes way ! "

"Do NOT eat the fruit ! "
said God.





"Why ?"



"Because I am your Father and I said so ! "

God replied,
wondering why He hadn't stopped
creation after making the elephants.

A few minutes later,
God saw His children having an apple break
and He was ticked !

"Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit ? "
God asked.





"Uh huh,"
Adam replied.

"Then why did you ? "
said the Father.

"I don't know,"
said Eve.


"She started it ! "
Adam said.

"Did not ! "

"Did too ! "


"DID NOT ! "

Having had it with the two of them,
God's punishment was that Adam and Eve
should have children of their own.

Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.

I love my brother very much, but he's a deadbeat dad to his kids.

His sons are older- 11 and 16 and he never bothers to call them or anything. He doesn't keep in touch and owes thousands in child support. The 16 year old keeps contact with me and I feel like I'm the only link to his father he has. I am always careful not to talk about his dad unless he asks about him because I don't want to force a relationship on him because I understand he probably feels abandoned.
Today, my ex sister in law called and wanted my brother's phone number because the 11 year old was hurt on his bike and needed to see a dentist. She needed to know if my brother would help pay the dental bill, so I gave her the number. My sixteen year old nephew called me later to tell me his dad was rude to their mother and refused to help. I feel like I should say something to my brother, but I'm not sure it's my place. Help!

A few days ago I asked a question. please read that question and some of the responses before reading the rest of this one

You see, almost all of the answerers to that question say something about spending time with their loved ones in their answer. This is just a random selection of people who come together here from different parts of the world. they all speak the language of love, yet we see so much hatred going on in the world. people get killed for no apparent reason. my question is

why is the world like this? why should people who all understand love (to some extend or another) do this to each other?

and the question that was asked in the film "Blood Diamond";

Is God ever going to forgive us?

PS. By us I mean mankind.
