Okay i have been living here in this apartment building for 6mnths and never noticed mold until it got cool outside.. Well in my daughters bedroom it is along the windows and is crawling down the walls. and in my pantry room by windows also.. Ive looked at several ways to take care of this but my son is 21mnths and coughs like an old man that has been smoking all his life.. Ive have taken him to the hospital and they said he had allergies and gave him medicine well she also asked if i smoke with him in the house i said no then out of no where she said Do you have black mold in your house.. i said yes.. She never once told me that this could be life threating situation ive looked at ways to treat this and it isnt that bad but if its on the walls is already soken in and will the walls have to be replaced.. Im dabating on moving if it can be taken care of but its my landlords responsibility.. Would it be easier to look for another place or is there a real solution to this

...without any of the "modern" conveniences, how long do you think you would last - and what would be the mod-con you would miss the most? I'd last a few weeks probably, but would desperately miss the modern bathroom fixtures.
