Ask any lovers, who know so much may be said without a single word, when time stands still, when a hush falls all over the world, when even the sounds of their own heartbeats vanish in that perfect moment of love, that exquisite exchange when souls mesh, oh, and it may be in an instant, a twinkle, in the moment of supreme love when both come together and time stands still and all is said in their eyes, locked like their bodies and hearts and souls.
Ask a great composer, like Mahler, who penned symphonies when they most wished to say and describe the world around them, at the time when they knew they were fading fast from this world and were so very much in tune with every fragile note and so wrote them all into a rhapsody in celebration, no, in exaltation of the greatest wonders and mysteries of all, this life, this mortal coil, this amazing world, and what dreams may come in this and any existence which may come hereafter.
Ask me, and I'll tell you that one look from my love, one soft significant silence, one feeling without sound yet heart singing so loud - oh! - and I can tell you, without a doubt, for me, it is that one beautiful moment of silence, when neither of us speak or even breathe, when our love just ... is...
and we both know, in that moment, everything we never will be able to express of our love in words or gestures or in any other way at all...
was expressed in that one perfection, that silent sharing...
So, for me, it must be silence.
For what is otherwise inexpressible has been expressed for my love and I, in many such perfect moments.

I'd have to say it depends.
Sometimes silence, sometimes music.
Before I read your details, I was going to say "a look".

The long, slow, silent meeting of the eyes. The words that flow from your stare into your partners heart.. The look that says "What we have is beyond words".
