Since I got hooked on this Yahoo answer site, I haven't picked up a book to read. Well, that is not entirely true, I picked up a Clive Cussler book and read 10 pages then got back to Yahoo. Do you find you are neglecting other things too much because of Yahoo?Does it alarm you at all? Do we all think we have so much wisdom that the world needs to hear our puny views? Anyway I like it.

I have a neighbor that I always hang out with. We had talked about Thanksgiving dinner and how his mom was going to be out of town, so he really didn't have any plans.

I live alone, and I told him, hey, why don't you just come over here for Thanksgiving. (I like to make a turkey even if it's just me, because I don't want to forget how to do it).

He said sure, that sounded great. (He's come over for dinner before so it's not like he's scared of my cooking). I told him we'd eat about 5'ish.

Needless to say, I bought all the groceries and stuff. He comes over to my house at 6 o'clock last night and told me "Oh, well, I can't make Thanksgiving, I've got something else to do." No "I'm sorry I can't make it", no reason, no nothing.

Is it wrong that I'm pissed off about this? It's not like I'm crushed that he's not coming over, but I just think it's common courtesy to not bail out on someone at the last minute.

What do you guys think?
