I just wait to see if they keep going, just to make sure it is for me!

I just look at then, if they continue, ill wave back if im pretty sure it is for me....it is embarrassing to wave back and have them say, "not YOU"

You just wave friendly and if it's not for you act like your waving to someone else.

I've learned to just smile at the person. This way, if they aren't waving at you, you just look friendly instead of a complete fool.

I just wave. Then if they see me and it wasnt me they were waving to I point to someone behind them. LOL.

yes wave back.
if they are waving at you and you dont wave back they will feel bad
what is worse, feeling stupid for waving at someone you dont know or making someone sad(whether you know them or not)

I breifly glance behind me to see if there is someone there who they are waving to. If not then I enquire if they were waving to me.

I am anti social. Even if it is for me I turn and ignore them. If they chase me down I look at them lke they are crazy and say Do I know you?
Then my mom is like what the heck is wrong with you I told you to bring the cart over here.

Dude this happens alot to me! Esp when ppl are talkin and i think they're talkin to me! lol... i guess there's no way to escape so id just go with the flow
