My city is under a state of emergency, its flooding in some areas (not mine) and there is a bad storm comming, worse than last night. Our warning siren is broke from last night. Shuld i take cover, or drown it out with music and not worry, its just a storm. altho it was caled the biggest outbreak of tornados in our history last night, and today is gonna be worse. Alredy, there is constant rumbling of thunder adn the sky is dark (its 1:20pm) and flashiung with lightning. My computer has a UPS (120v battery with surge protecter) and the lights are not flickering much yet. I live by a creek (also a MSD building) so i think im safe from flooding. but the house fumbles from wind and thunder. the rain is just a cnostant hum. Am i being mature, or just stupid, by ignoring the littel storm.

it was sooo strange!!!! yet funny. It started out with some lady getting ready to put some sort of bug sprya on her plants, and her neighbor peeked over the fence and asked her, "Hey, what are you doin" ... or something like that and she said "Just putting some of this stuff on my plants someone told me about" and when she sprayed it, all of her plants died, and the big tree,.... then it turned out to be some sort of tree, and then it staarted over agian, and this time when the neighbor asked her, the lady said "Just putting this stuff on that I learned from Yahoo!" and all the trees and plants and stuff grew bigger, and this BIG advertisement and the little green Yahoo Answers icon thingy showed up.... it was cool. Did anyone else see it???

I'm putting together a presentation on protocol and fashion for the upcoming holiday season and need some fun stories. Ideally, I'm looking for things that could affect a job, but other things are fine.
What are things that people did when they had a few too many? What did they do that made them call in sick the next day? What made someone quit because it was so bad? Thanks for sharing. The more details the better. Best story will get the best answer!
