IDIOTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. The reason: "too many deer were being hit by cars" and he didn't want them to cross there anymore.

My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for "minimal lettuce." He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg. And he was a Kansas City chef!

I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge? To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know? He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask."

I got my ears pierced (finally!), a new cell (wasn't expecting that), some jewlery, hair acsessories, some clothing, and expecting to get my nose pierced too.
And tomorrow, i'm expecting more presents....these were all late gifts.

By the way, about the nose piercing, if anyone has it, did it hurt? I'm just wondering because i'm kind of scared.

We, equally know that essentially everyone involved in the classical music and wedding industries alike hate the chord progression used in just about every style of music. But is it REALLY all that bad? Do you think that people hate it because it's everywhere, because of the terrible basso continuo part, or because it's flat out "uncool" to enjoy it?
