I was at work one day when my boss, who was called mac, asked me to make a phone call to one of our suppliers, who's name was nick. We needed some glue for one of our products, this glue was called Tak Pak. We were really busy that day and so i didnt forget what i was phoning about i repeated macs request over and over in my head while waiting for the phone to be answered. Someone answered the phone and i blurted out "NICK MAC TAK PAK" to which he replied "give a dog a bone". I was laughing so much that all i could do was repeat " NICK MAC TAK PAK" several times. We got our glue the next day. Stupid, i know but it still makes me chuckle.

In the mid to late 90's, in Tulsa Oklahoma, PBS played a song that was an advertisement for PBS or a PBS theme. It may have played at other times as well, like a station identification. In fact I think they might have played it when the station signed off. I think it was done by Rockapella or a group similar to them. It seems like it was inspirational or patriotic.
I already wrote to the station and did not recieve an answer.

A far off memory is like a scatted dream, a scatted dream thats like a far off memory, I wont to line the peaces up, yours and mine. I feel as those the whole world is not real as who know nothing can’t understand nothing and in return the world is nothing at all, it’s an empty shell just waiting to rust into nothing more then dust flowing into the air. but in the end i still cry because the worl's unfair.

Have you read the book The Phantom of the Opera? What about seeing the play? The movie?
If you've read the book have you also read the sequel? If you've seen the play what was your favorite part?
I saw the movie a year or two ago and just a few weeks ago it came here to DesMoines so I got to see that. And I JUST finished the book. One of my teachers says there is a sequel called The Phantom of Manhatten. I loved all three but the book was the best. The play was pretty amazing.
Just wondering what your views are on this.

Ever so often, I listen to a radio station where the host, who also has his own line of clothing, says, "It is half past the hour" or "It's 23 minutes past the hour" or "It's 47 minutes to the hour". He never says what that hour is.

Have you ever awaken and didn't trust your clock, and for reassurance you tuned in to the radio station to get the correct time, and when the time was given you still were at a loss? What time is it? Not only does this well-known person tell time this way, but so does the rest of his staff and even the female newscaster does it. What's wrong, can't they tell time?
