I have recently come across a vintage triple Acme whistle that I can't identify. It is made from stainless steel and has the Acme made in England engraved on the side. It also has the letters G,D and C engraved which I believe denotes the keys. The main body of the whistle has the two whistles and the smaller of the three is welded onto the back. Other than that it has no other markings or serial numbers. I have absolutely no idea whether it's a mariners whistle, a locomotive whistle, a policemans whistle or a sporting whistle, can you help?
