looking to go out for New Years Eve, can anyone suggest any good night in London, preferably south of the rive and west end. Funky Disco house spinning and a little bit of electro/hard house for the inner raver in me that will rear it's head!!! get the glo sticks out!!!
ps - dont wanna be ripped off for tickets (this may lead to me staying at home!!!) around £20 - £25 quid, maybe 30 if theres some good dj's playing.

My personal favorites are the Cybermen from "Doctor Who." They were the original "Borg" of the universe. Their emotionless, relentless quest to turn all alien races into Cybermen kept the good Doctor on his toes.

How does a 14 year old girl(not very eperianced) get into acting. No one takes me seriously. I want so bad to make it to broadway someday but no one cares. My stupid middle school directors put my as a chorus girl two years in a row. And the nearest acting playhouse is about 30 minutes away(my parents won't drive me). Can some one give me advise about how to get started with acting?

I am moving to the Chicago area and would like to switch careers from high school English teacher to something rewarding and FUN! I do not know how to go about searching for new career options that would allow me to utilize my many years of teaching. I am creative and motivated and enjoy being around positive people. Money is a very good thing, too.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can do a career/job search? I love books, writing, music, coffee and the arts.

whats a really good gift for a really good kid? he is 5 yrs old and he likes everything and i just would like to get him something big but not rediculouse priced.

I'm helping plan our year end party and our budget has enough left in it for us to spend $20 per employee on a gift. The theme is sort of Hollywood, Stars, that sort of thing. If we do gift cards to say, Best Buy, then the employees have to pay tax on it, and we don't want that. But, we do want to give something special that says, "You're a star!" 10 Points for the best idea!!
