If making a lot of money is all thats important to you, I read an article about a high priced hooker who made about 5000 dollars a night, plus all the expensive gifts she got from the rich men she was sleeping with. Of course, she said, you still have to be well educated for that job (she had a masters) because when men are paying that much for a lady companion, they expect her to be smart and witty and fun to hang out with in addition to being pretty and good in bed.

The US Department of Labor has a very informative site that details average wages by industry. See the link below. Pay rates for non-stars are related to two major influences, risk and education. For example a forest fire fire jumper makes a good wage while risking life and limb. A CEO of a major corporation makes a good salary based on education and experience. Sadly, our military does not pay enough to compensate for the risks our troops are taking each day. As a veteran, I do think the service provides a way for individuals to obtain very practical experience and the educational benefit allowed me to obtain my degree.

To make money in this country you have to be able to understand money. My vote goes to the financial advising field.

Prostitution and televangelism. You don't need training/education for either, but they fulfill a public need..
