I'm helping plan our year end party and our budget has enough left in it for us to spend $20 per employee on a gift. The theme is sort of Hollywood, Stars, that sort of thing. If we do gift cards to say, Best Buy, then the employees have to pay tax on it, and we don't want that. But, we do want to give something special that says, "You're a star!" 10 Points for the best idea!!

How about a nice bottle of Champagne. Assuming everyone is old enough of course. You could also make a small "Themed" gift basket. For example, a gift card to Blockbuster with some popcorn/candy/beverages in it. Another example would be a pasta dinner basket. You could put in some pasta,good sauce/wine/olive oil etc...

i think... if you have a things remembered by you, to make little card holders, key chains, money clips engraved with the employees name on it. that would be really sweet. it would probably cost around 15-20 bucks. And if you spend over $75, you recieve a discount. AND just now, if you buy one, you get the second one half off so it's a great deal. [and no, i dont work for them=P]

If i was your employee i would want the CASH, or a gift card for Best BUY or EB games. Believe me its better to give them a gift card than a lame gift they wont enjoy.

Gift baskets are the best. You can make it yourself and put different things in it or you could just go to a department store and buy one. Whatever meets your budget.

Spend the money on Decorations of the such, ie: sequin stars, Big Cardboard stars, streamers, some moons.....
And decorate each of the employee's offices, so when they come into work, they will be reminded of how your company thinks of them as stars.

CD's and/or DVD's. --You can buy a bunch of different ones and let everyone pick the one that they like best, or you can just buy the same one for everybody...of course there's no guarantee you'll buy the one that they want.
