Ok i love the wave of shock comedians that really started in the 80's . Notably Bill Hick's. I ve listened to many more including Denis Leary who i love and even more recently ive been listening to David Cross. Can anyone reccommend anymore good shock comedians that tell good real life observations that have an elemnt of offensiveness and shock?

I just started training at a fred estaire studio and the training is about 8 weeks. Now I dont get paid for that training period. Is that something that is normal. Because my boyfriend doesnt like the idea that I dont get paid for the training. However I have not officially been hired or filled out any paperwork such as W-2. I figure if I need to get training in ballroom its like a school or a tryout period. Maybe I could even utilize that to go to another studio. But I wondered if anyone knows about this and could give me some insight. I really want to do this and understand that starting off its not a very lucrative career. I really enjoy the training and have gotten really fit. But I dont want to be scammed either. HELP!!

Well I even told him I was inviting him to my party and he knows it.But he is having a birth-day party at my favorite place and he did not invite me.I know him good,and he knows it is my favorite place.I know this might sound childesh but how do I get revenge to him at school???I want him to feel bad.My friend was invited...no air because now I am at home really board.Do U ever feel that somtimes U want to transfer to another school?I want revenge on him!

I'm in 9th grade and I have to pick a book that's non-fiction and/or a book by an ethnic author (asian, african-american, etc). I can't really decide what kind of book I want to read. I love Jane Eyre, The Tenth Power (part of the Chanters of Tremaris trilogy), and Eragon/Eldest. Yes, I know these are fiction and most of these are fantasy books but something like that. Full of adventure, romance. Just a wonderful book that gives you a rush after you're read it. Yeah, I'm just a little specific.....(I just read The Tenth Power and it's like my new all-time favorite)

*If you want to read The Tenth Power, you should first read The Singer of All Songs and The Waterless Sea (in that order). Amazing trilogy!!!
