I'm in 9th grade and I have to pick a book that's non-fiction and/or a book by an ethnic author (asian, african-american, etc). I can't really decide what kind of book I want to read. I love Jane Eyre, The Tenth Power (part of the Chanters of Tremaris trilogy), and Eragon/Eldest. Yes, I know these are fiction and most of these are fantasy books but something like that. Full of adventure, romance. Just a wonderful book that gives you a rush after you're read it. Yeah, I'm just a little specific.....(I just read The Tenth Power and it's like my new all-time favorite)

*If you want to read The Tenth Power, you should first read The Singer of All Songs and The Waterless Sea (in that order). Amazing trilogy!!!

Several. My first choice would be "How to Talk Dirty and Influence People" by Lenny Bruce.

relies upon on the author, on the writer and on the undertaking. needless to say a non-fiction e book with a concentration on some esoteric innovations is going to be of involved to a limited industry, and is in simple terms no longer a great broking, mutually as a non-fiction e book that outlines what's going to take place whilst the international ends has the flair to be a extensive broking. whether authors gets a commission up-front or in royalties is a controversy for negotiation between the author (or the author's agent) and the writer. There are no perplexing and speedy policies. No union scale.

I read at least one book a week, sometimes more, but I have NEVER selected a book because of it's authors: gender, race, age or ethnic group.
EVERY book is written by a member of an ethnic group.
Your teacher is a racist

For an excellent non-fiction book, try THE GREAT ESCAPE by Paul Brickhill
It details how a group of allied prisoners escaped from a German Prisoner of war camp.

Other non fiction books to consider, a biography or autobiography of a comedian. They are usually funny and an easy read.
