I came across this song that appears to be called "Beyond Average" and might be by Eminem, but it doesn't sound like him - could it be from his early days or by an imposter? I can't find lyrics anywhere but the song is here on YouTube:

Please let me know if you have any more information about it! Thanks!

okay folks, just curious. if you were responsible for taking your favorite r&b song of all times and and find a rap artist from any generation to spit a verse on it and make it into a remix, what would you choose?

As we all know white kids buy most rap cd's. At my school or even on youtube and ect
when i look at videos and read the comments some cacuasion people get mad, when rappers use certain lyrics. Some say that rappers shouldn't say certain things and what they say should be more diverse for example some causican people get offended with lyrics like these?

"Drug dealers buy Jordans, crackheads buy crack
But the white man get paid off of all a dat"

"That's why I hear new music
And I just don't be feeling it
Racism still alive they just be concealing it"

"hese are the days of our lifes
And I'm sorry to the fans but the crackers weren't playing fair Jive"

These are a few lines i feel like putting up^^^

What i'm trying to say is that some Caucasian people who listen to rap think
rappers shouldn't say stuff like that because Caucasian people listen to it too?

What are your thoughts on this?
Please stay on this topic.

Everyone (not everyone, but mainly those of older audiences) who grew up wit hip hop in the 80's always try to label ALL kids within a certain age groups..lets say 13-17,18, with not knowing about hip hop, the origins, the legendary artists that paved the way for the artists we have today..just because the likes of Soulja Boy, Hurricane Chris, *insert ringtone rapper here*, etc. are popular, they judge all of us with not knowing anything outside of that...yet look at the BET Hip Hop awards, all grown ppl, people who grew up wit the 80's Hip Hop dancing to Soulja Boy, they liked the song, it was entertainment..I dont see anyone trying to strip them of their "Hip Hop Merit of Honor", yet if its a teen doing it, all of a sudden "o they dont know anything about hip hop"..what gives them any more liability? most of these same people probably have never done an in-depth search of artists today to see if they could connect with any..just dismiss it all based on what you saw on TV...

people, i been thinking... Now I dont do that a lot. But here i is...

most black people gets offended when a caucasion says the n-word.
that means most black hiphop acts get offended ... well you know what I mean.
Yet the likes of jay-zs (i'm a stan) T.Is, Lil waynes feel they are entitle to say whatever the **** they wanna say in theire lyrics and I agree with them (y'all with me so far)
However the audiences of these cats is in part white youth.
Now when those youngn'z cop hiphop CDs and are jamming to them in their cars to the hot new Roc Boys and they are reciting the lyrics and they come to the line that says
"Thanks to the lames, ****** with bad aim", when they go to hiphop concerts when the crowd is rocking and screaming "Wuts my muhfukking name? Jigga!!! And who I'm rollin with huh?
My ****** !!!! what are they to do? MUTE those lines? chant in chorus?

Much love and respect to these icons of hip hop. I felt I needed to educate the average person on this forum to know who paved the way for you to hear people like Kanye, Papoose, or even (gulp) Weezy. If you know these icons, then what are your top five songs from each ? Mines would be:
EpMd
1. So what'cha sayin'
2. Nobodys safe
3. Golddigger
4. You gots to chill
5. Please listen to my demo
Das Efx
1. Mic checka
2. Straight from the sewer
3. They want efx
4. Krazy wit the books
5. Rap scholar

PS.. I'm thinking about changing my avatar, What should I use? What do you think about the one I have now?

PSS..Star this if you want the younger kids to know who these icons are...

When we talk about the hip hop G.O.A.T, Tupac and Biggie are always the first 2 names at the top, but is that right? some people think that Jigga is a must when we talking bout the best.
Nas, Eminem, LL Cool J? Even 50????

Me? well, if pushed to say -

1. Biggie
2. Eminem
3. Tupac
4. LL Cool J
5. Chamillionaire
Honourable Mention - Big L

I think Canibus makes the best guest appearances... Every song he's featured in he spits straight fire & sometimes kill dudes on there own track... Here are a few songs that I think Canibus was raw on...

Making a name for ourselves-Common-Canibus owned Common in this track...

Beasts from the East-Lost Boys ft. A+, & Redman-Canibus owned them except 4 Redman

I wish you would-Chino XL & Royce Da 5'9-Canibus didn't murk them on here becuase all 3 of them was raw but it was a sick featured verse...

Fantastic 4-Cam'ron, Big Pun, Noreaga-This is my favorite Canibus guest appearance. Murked Cam'ron & Noreage & yes Big Pun. Pun wasn't bad but Cam'ron was so raw on this ish...

There are a lot more... But who do you guys think makes the best guest appearances in songs?
