Can you tip me off to covers of songs that were dramatically changed for the cover? Example: Talking Heads covered Al Green's "Take Me to the River" VERY differently.

I just cannot stand that genre, the music, the moping,the self-pity.

sounds 1970's, a female singing throughout the song, very motown'ish, sounds like 'the marvellettes' or similiar, when she sings 'you' at the end of the chorus she 'drags it out' so to speak, so i put ' youuuu.....' sorry, i know it's very little to go on, but any useful comments would be fantastic !!!!

Last year I made my Grandma a dvd for christmas with a bunch of pics of her children and grandchildren growing up. in the background i played music. the songs: "Memories" by Barbara Streisand and "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. This year I am making another one but with more with video, but a few pictures. what are some appropriate songs I can use as background music?

Like on my madman across the water, tiny dancer is in C# not C and Im pretty sure that song is always played in C on CDs. Stuff like this has happened with other songs on records. I dont think they are different versions of the songs because all the singers inflections are the same except in a different key. Could this have something to do with like technology or something??
