Can anyone tell me if Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian? Every bio and interview that I've ever read from him has stated that he was born in Ontario and moved to the US in 1957. However, some guy on youtube INSISTS that he was born in America and gave some quote from an interview with Lightfoot to prove his point. I don't see how everything I've read could be wrong, but maybe this is just some little known fact? That he was actually born in American but raised in Canada? Any help would be appreciated.

They're amazing! They music transcends Enya among other styles of New Age, with inspiring, yet though provoking sensations. Just an all around great artist. Probably more unusual as I am only 17...not a typical age listener I bet. Any other likers?
