When abba sang a song e.g Take a chance on me, fernando. Was it released in english only or was it released in diffrent languages for difrent countrys.

Matt, I know of a Fernando version done in Spanish. Good tune in any language. Yes, I think its redone (don't know how) in the language of the country they listen to it in. Hope this helps.

They did not release all the songs in diferent languages. As I understand it they released a number of tunes in Spanish, Swedish etc but not all of them

I am quite sure there was a Swedish version of Waterloo-I doubt there was a French version though.
