what is the song that starts with " one two three four five" ? I dont know the next line, i dont know the artist. All i know about that song is that it is pretty old and sounds like "Rock n Roll"

I'm putting together a video for a motivational seminar. I need a song that starts off slow or soft for just a few seconds and than hits hard. I was think along the lines of Linkin Park. Does anyone have some good suggestions?

I'm in 'contemporary music' at my highschool, but we call it rockband.

It's pretty nice.
Jammin for two periods everyday with my band.

but the teacher wants us to try and touch on every genre or at least asmany as possible.

we are all mostly into heavy stuff.

are set list now consists of:

There are no penguins in Alaska- Chiodos
Ice Ice baby-Vanilla ice (a successful attempt to expand)
I Set my Friend's on Fire's cover of Crank that soulja boy(just for fun)
Liar in the glass- eyes set to kill
Finding home-Saosin
Grace Kelly- Mika(another attempt to expand)


We could happily just play heavy stuff and have fun writing our own songs, but since she's making us expand
i need some help thinking of songs with fun bass lines.

since metal only last far so long on bass anyways.

so I'm open to any ideas.
i hope that gave you some idea of what I'm into.

Even if a song doesn't have a good baseline and its just good.

On my Pop Music course, we have to pick a song that will utilise all the members that have been put in our group, 2 acoustic guitars, think Brian May on lead guitar, bass and drums,
2 male vocalists and 1 female vocalist.
I think something that starts acoustic and builds up and can have 3 part harmony would be perfect, any ideas?

it starts with a girls voice trying to get into a club.

She goes to the doorman..:

"Charles?"....

and he goes:

"What list?"

She goes:

"The DJ's List"

and then he goes:

"Miss Thing....THERE IS NO GUEST LIST TONIGHT!!!"
