It's a classical music song with a very nervous feel. The artist's name starts with a "U" but I can't remember it, but it is his fifth song. His name sounds like Ulquast or something like that, but I can't find it. PLEASE HELP!!!

I am reading "How Equal Temperament Ruined Harmony and Why You Should Care", and I *seem* to recall that one of the synth manufacturers had a keyboard that could be tuned to all of the above tunings and/or temperaments, plus several more. Am I a delusional theorist - or does any one KNOW which it is/was?

I just watched the movie, 'Immortal Beloved' and my question....?
This movie is based on the life of Beethoven. I am wondering how true the story is? Does this movie have a lot of supposition in it, or is it pretty factual?
Beethoven never married, but he had mistresses among the royalty? He had a brother who died of TB, and who left a wife and son behind.....then it turns out the brother's son is really Beethoven's son? Your thoughts??? What did Beethoven die from, and how old was he? THANX !

I've recently fallen in love with classical music, especially Debussy's Clair de Lune. Can anyone recommend something similar? Thank you so much!

Where could I find some free sheet music for Claude Debussy's "The Girl with the Flaxen Hair" for the piano? I'd like it for a piano solo only, not piano/clarinet mix or piano duet. Thanks.

I'm co-writing a short film, and we will be shooting soon, and we need a classical piece to be played in the background throughout. Any suggestions for intense, suspenseful pieces? It doesn't have to be Mozart, or Beethoven, something very new and modern even. Just any suggestions at all. Share as many as you know just so we have lots of options. Thanks! :)

This was American Express' hold music and I took a liking to it. Can anyone identify it? It sounds classical although it might be quasi-classical.

I play the viola and guitar and I'm taking lessons for both. I have the same teacher for both instruments and I have lessons about once a week. I just need some good books so I can read up on music theory, fundamentals, and famous composers because my teacher always asks me questions about those things and I never know the answers. So if anyone know of some good books with lots of info let me know. Thanks.

I've always been taught in composition class to change the key signature when I'm in a new key, but I noticed that Chopin rarely (if ever) changed his key signatures--he just used a lot of single and double sharps and flats. It always makes it really difficult for me to figure out the notes when I'm playing his pieces. Why did he choose to retain the same key signatures throughout? Was it the style popular at the time, or is there something, some sort of meaning that is sacrificed when key signature changes?
