Music - 17 August 2007

I woke up this morning with a VERY sore throat and coughing up some phlegmy substance. Not alot just enough to cause me to worry. Anywho, I have to sing at a wedding rehersal tonight and then tomorrow for the actual wedding. Is there anyway to kick this before then?

What is it about 80's music that is so powerful? For me, the music of no other decade sounds as cool. I would rather hear the same old songs over and over than listen to 90% of the new stuff on the radio today. Even remakes of 80's music doesn't do it; sometimes it seems sacrilegious. Is it the sound, the artists, or something else?
