I don't get it. There is no vocals or word expression. It sounds like loung/elevator music. I really want to tap into it and know why it resonates so greatly with people.

I am claasically trained on the guitar. To me, classical music is intricate and sounds beautiful when put together. I hear fellow musicians say that jazz is "free," but to me it is just fiddling around within the scales while touching upon melody in a subtle way.

Why do you like it?

In the documentary "Festival Express," there is a part in it in which Janis Joplin (wearing purple outfit and purple glasses) and Jerry Garcia (playing his guitar) are both sitting inside the train. On Janis' right side, there is a plastered guy in a white t-shirt that Janis later referred to as "Danny." "Danny" is also playing the guitar and singing. It doesn't do it at lower speeds and it doesn't do it if you ease into the gas. But if you go from no throttle to even 1/4 throttle quickle, the car jumps and the steering wheel twitches. I'm thinking torque converter?
