The group sounds strongly like a group called "Shai" and the lyrics to the chorus goes something like "Stop the love you save may be your own, stop or you may find yourself alone". It's a very slow, sensual song. I've looked every where for this song!!! Much thanx :)

It was before rap was very popular, and at the end a guy said, "This is General Beauregard Stumpsy. Repeat after me: I clearly really feel the funk, I really clearly, I clearly really feel the funk." I can't remember what the verb is in the command to the grandmaster in the lyrics. My son had this on a cassette compilation of "break dance" music in the mid-1980's which he loved to listen to when he was 10-12 years old. It also included a song called, I think, "Autobahn" and perhaps "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash. I'd love to find the compilation, if possible.
