I can't really describe my voice, but I strain when singing high high notes, and I can barely sing really low notes. Aside from that, I can always sing verses, and I can sometimes sing choruses (most of the time I strain, but I still sound okay). With this description, can you make a guess, or is the detail to vague?

I have musical experience, I play piano and I'm studying violin performance in university. All my guitar playing friends recommend Epiphone, Washburn, or Takamine...Are they right?

I am a small woman, so I really would prefer a smaller sized guitar (like a folk body) but not a children sized one...I intend on playing around at music stores before I buy, but I want to know where to start...

I heard that Phil Collins was getting back with Genesis.
I also heard that Van Halen is getting back David Lee Roth.
I'm also witnessing artists re-singing old songs of the past (cover songs) and bringing them back into the light.

My question is why is 80's music coming back? Are the songs of today so bad that producers are making classics a comeback?

I'm wondering because some of today's music really sounds terrible...I mean really awful!!!!!! There is no doubt that American Idol sings 80's classics.

Other than Beyonce, I am wondering who the next Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Micheal Jackson, Prince, & Madonna is going to be?
