"Nice music," eh? There are as many kinds of nice music in the world as there are people who listen to music.....one person's "nice music" will almost certainly be another's "unbearable noise." For example, I have no use for the urban sounds of guys like 50 Cent, Jay-Z, etc. I don't like it, can't stand to listen to it....that doesn't make it "bad music," just music I don't like....but these guys are very talented, and a lot of people do like their stuff.

I like a large variety of music...many different types...allow me to give you a bare bones rundown of what is "nice music" for me.

---The "countrypolitan" sound of Patsy Cline...sure, some of the songs were sappy, but she sure could sing.

---Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band...'nuff said.

---The Stanley Brothers and The Clinch Mountain Boys...if you want to know what "bluegrass" is all about, here is a good place to start.

---Beethoven...the Finale to the 9th Symphony may be the single most glorious piece of music ever written.

---Elvis Presley...guilty pleasure.

---ABBA...ditto here, no, double that.

---Stage music produced by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein...masters of using musical numbers to advance either the plot or character development of the play.

I could go on and on for hours...this is just the Evelyn Wood version of what I consider "nice music." Maybe you already enjoy the same things...if not, give it a listen, you might be surprised.

Oh, and one more thing...just between you and me, here are the three greatest songs ever recorded...
1---Mack the Knife, Bobby Darin
2---Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen
3---Willie, Mickey and the Duke---Terry Cashman

Have a good evening.

It really isn't understandable the way it's written. There is an edit function. Go back and edit this. Then maybe someone can give you an intelligible answer.
