HI Earthlings,

I just landed here on planet earth and want to know what type of music there is out there. I know very little about the different artists. All I know is I like the songs:

Heard this track on Capital Gold in London this afternoon but didn't get the name - sort of sounds like late 60's / 70's with a chilled guitar riff . Gold Star to the first person who can identify the song !

I have a lot of music I have to listen to, but will take me forever to get through it all. Is there a site that will tell you the most popular songs by an artist so I can get a feel for the group by the better songs??

As a Pink Floyd fan from day 1 in the 1960's I find it hard to accept all the recent praise heaped upon Dave Gilmour as if he founded the group. It seems that the critics have forgotten that all the Floyd masterpieces, from Dark Side of the Moon to the The Wall, were mainly the brain child of Roger Waters.

I am also mindful that the early music of the group was inspired by the late Syd Barrett. Whilst I regard Gilmour as the the greatest Rock Guitarist of all time I find it hard to swallow that he appears to be the 'Be all and End all' of their history.

I would like to know if anyone else feels this way too and appreciate comments on this question.

Well, I'm going on a youth group trip, and the drive is going to take as long as seven hours. I need some songs to put on my Ipod that will keep me up and running. It doesnt have to be Christian music either. Just anything that will keep me awake.

I think jimi hendrix was kiled by the man for having white women. I think the bas player and drum do it cause he shag they copubine and do it better. The ambulance what killed him was never found nowere and the vomit i hear disapear at police where officer all be white. They always impress the evidence so the truth stay in the dusk. Also them white bass and drum never make no music after that I think they fake and jimi play all the instruments we now he did in the studio and he do it onstage to.

I already have a very old VHS video recorded from TV (converted from Betamax!) of this live concert and the reproduction is pretty awful. I think the show was at Wembley Arena, although there is mention of a 1984 concert at Wembley Stadium on the Billy Joel website, I think this is incorrect. Therefore, I am looking for a good quality video or dvd.
