P.Diddys Making the Band "danity Kane" featured them sining a song "tell me" and it really really looked like this was gonna be a song on their album or by them....

Hi, I bought my son an electric guitar for christmas and have been really enjoying playing with it when he is not around.
I am now thinking that i would like to try and learn how to play guitar.
Would it be best to buy an acoustic and take some lessons? or should i just buy an electric(which i would prefer) and try to find a good beginner book?

Hello just wondering if anyone knew what the song/title/artist is.
I can remember that in the song a lady is calling her husband on MARS and the call breaks up half way through.(I know a bit weird).The song was out early eighties .
The tune to this song has been stuck in my head for a few days now and is annoying me but brings some memories back from childhood. I know this is a long shot as I cant hum the tune to anyone here. Any sugestions?
