this is a toughy, 'cause there's a hollova lot out there, 'specially within the last few years!
now let me clearify this a little, not all rap sucks, in my opinion, about 87.6% of it is a waste of sound!

What about that STUPID song "Do Ya Chain Hang Low" or some sh** like that. And there's another song about Chicken Noodle Soup out that's utterly ridiculous. Those have to be the 2 worst songs I've been unfortunate enough to hear in a long time. Who listen's to these things? The new rap these days makes me want to cry it's so bad. What happened to all the good lyricists? They were around like 5-7 years ago. Onyx- he was pretty good. And even though I'm not a huge fan, the Wu-Tang Clan at least had a point to the lyrics of their raps. Well, the old stuff. (Most of it anyways)

Most of it sucks. In fact, all of the recent (1999 til now) rap sucks bad. Disgrace to music.

I haven't heard one rap song that I like, so for now, all of it. But some rap has potential, the songwriters and artists just need to embrace that potential.
