I suppose many many people is not aware of that indie rock / electronic band with the extensive melancholic touch.

We wanted to make a cd with one or two songs from a variety of my own (purchased) cds and give it to my daughter's friends as a party favor. We're trying to teach our children to live with a pretty high ethical standard and she asked me if this isn't stealing. What do you think? I figure if I only do a song or two, it might introduce someone to new music and they might buy a cd they otherwise wouldn't. But am I fooling myself? Am I stealing intellectual property?
