Yeah, "Master of Puppets" is a good one to start with, but consider this: When I saw Metallica on the "...And Justice For All" tour, they opened with "Blackened." VERY cool. Just a thought...If you're leaning more toward heavy metal than speed metal or grunge, how about "The Hellion/Electric Eye" by Judas Priest as an opener?

If your starting your own band you should start writing your own songs. Don't be a cheesy cover band!
