I don't think so, but he has so much respect from a lot of people out there in the music industry that he actually can have that title. He's a good rapper and has been in the game for a long time. Not a lot of people can do that. We all know how old he is, so imagine still being able to put out hits. I knwo that Weezy (Lil Wayne) is starting to finally get noticed more. He's a great lyricist, listen to his Dedication II mixtape...it's like crack man, CRACK!!!!!

Jay-Z is pretty good. But my choice would have to be either 2pac or Chuck D from Public Enemy. Ya can't forget the Old Skool rappers.

Nas is alot extra consistent even with a pair flaws. the only Jay-Z album it relatively is a classic is functional Doubt in my opinion. Nas - "Affirmative action", "represent". Jay-Z - ""ineffective Presidents II", "Politics as properly-known".

yes, I would say Jay is the best in the game right now.. but I still love LL, I think he's my overall favorite.. he's been in almost 20 years and he's still making hits

cant stand JAY-Z and his fat nose ugly ***..not into rap to much ..but i would say...besides my one and only tupac..it would have to be nelly or eminem
