I heard the song for the first time in a while this past weekend and it's driving me crazy that I can't remember the song. I can't recall much of the lyric, but it's a song about a guy leaving and how he doesn't want to leave, but in the morning he'll have to say good-bye. It's a pretty trendy song as I recall hearing this song many times back in the 90s sometime on the radio. Genre I'd have to consider them in the same group as Greenday, U2, REM, etc. I doubt anyone can figure out the song with the minimal info I have to offer, but if you can... i'll be completely amazed!

The "wah wah wah waah" muted trumpet sound is usually used in TV shows, from Sesame Street to comedies (though it's cliched at this point) to indicate disappointment or ironic situations. People usually make that sound in conversations or even in blog posts. Where did this originate from and who was the first to use this? I suspect vaudevillian roots, but am unsure.

Other lyrics say something like "bet ya hadda jump up & down justa getem on... lay on the bed to zip up" I heard it at the club a couple times, but I have no clue who it's by. I tried doing several lyric searches but can't find anything. It's not Master P or Ginuwine, it's newer than their similar songs.
