I heard the song for the first time in a while this past weekend and it's driving me crazy that I can't remember the song. I can't recall much of the lyric, but it's a song about a guy leaving and how he doesn't want to leave, but in the morning he'll have to say good-bye. It's a pretty trendy song as I recall hearing this song many times back in the 90s sometime on the radio. Genre I'd have to consider them in the same group as Greenday, U2, REM, etc. I doubt anyone can figure out the song with the minimal info I have to offer, but if you can... i'll be completely amazed!

could it be August in Bethany- Juliana Theory

"August In Bethany"

With the sounds of the ocean crashing
7:30 Friday evening
everything comes tumbling down
I choke back each tear that bleeds
I’d rather rest forever in your arms
I’d rather stay here than go but I know that
I should leave as i sit here helpless

Don’t go you said you wouldn't
You said you wouldn't
Don’t go you said you wouldn't
You said you couldn't

I think of our time together is it fading
am I dreaming everything you said lives on
I cherish our memories
I want to kiss your tears away tonight
it's hard to give up the one
You never thought you'd leave

Don’t go don't go
Your eyes they see through my soul
don't go don't go
You say as I walk out your door

With the sounds of the ocean crashing
7:30 Friday evening
everything comes tumbling down

I do not consider there may be any copyright problems, nevertheless you must point out that the name was once motivated by way of the track "More than Miles," by way of Brantley Gilbert. Good success along with your tale, and confidently it hits the cabinets. (:

Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry

Go on and close the curtains
cause all we need is candle light
You and me and a bottle of wine
going to hold you tonight
Well we know I'm going away
and how I wish, I wish it weren't so
So take this wine and drink with me
let's delay our misery

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

There's a log on the fire
and it burns like me for you
Tomorrow comes with one desire
to take me away it's true
It ain't easy to say goodbye
darling please don't start to cry
Cause girl you know I've got to go, oh
Lord I wish it wasn't so

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Tomorrow comes to take me away
I wish that I, that I could stay
Girl you know I've got to go, oh
Lord I wish it wasn't so

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
and fight the break of dawn
Come tomorrow
tomorrow I'll be gone
tomorrow I'll be gone
tomorrow I'll be gone
tomorrow I'll be gone
tomorrow I'll be gone

Save tonight
Save tonight
Save tonight
Save tonight
